Short version: if you join the Super106 waitlist, we keep your name and email so we can tell you when Super106 launches. That’s it. We don’t sell it, share it for marketing, or send you anything else.
Who we are
Super106 is made by Noisy Turtle, based in the United Kingdom. Noisy Turtle is responsible for (the “controller” of) any personal data collected on super106.com. You can contact us about anything on this page at web@super106.com.
What we collect and why
- Waitlist sign-ups: your name and email address, so we can email you when Super106 launches and when it’s available to buy.
- Technical details sent with the form: your IP address, browser details and the time you signed up. These are recorded automatically to spot spam and abuse.
- Emails you send us: if you write to us, we keep your message so we can reply.
We don’t use your data for automated decision-making or profiling.
Our lawful basis
We rely on your consent for the waitlist: you choose to sign up. You can withdraw that consent at any time by emailing web@super106.com, and we’ll remove you. For the spam-protection details, we rely on our legitimate interest in keeping the site and the waitlist free of junk sign-ups.
Who else handles your data
The site is hosted on WordPress.com, run by Automattic Inc. Waitlist sign-ups are stored by their Jetpack Forms service and checked for spam by their Akismet service. Automattic is based in the USA, so your data may be processed there. Automattic protects international transfers with the safeguards set out in its own privacy policy.
We don’t share your data with anyone else, and we never sell it.
How long we keep it
We keep waitlist details until 12 months after Super106 launches, or until you ask us to remove you, whichever comes first. Then we delete them.
Cookies
We don’t set advertising or tracking cookies. WordPress.com may set a small number of cookies it needs to run the site and count visits. See Automattic’s cookie policy for details.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- get a copy of the data we hold about you
- have it corrected if it’s wrong
- have it deleted
- restrict how we use it
- get it in a portable format
- withdraw your consent at any time
Your right to object: you can object at any time to us using your data, including for the spam checks described above. Just email web@super106.com.
To use any of these rights, email web@super106.com. We’ll reply within one month.
Complaints
If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.
Changes
When the Super106 shop opens, we’ll update this policy to cover orders and payments. The date at the top will always show when it last changed.
